Web Designer

In the Web Communications course over the 2 years the student will learn how to develop a webpage and become more efficient when using Dreamweaver. The student will learn HTML, CSS, PHP and Java script. Once the student feels like he/she is ready for the real world and web is there passion, they can become a web designer when they’re done the program for their career. A web Designer is someone who designs the layout of a website and creates it with code. This would be a really good career for someone who likes designing and making websites. Depending on how much experience and how many years you have been a web developer the salary can average around $45,610 per year.

Digital Designer

When finishing up in this program after the 2 years, the student can become a digital designer. A digital designer may work in web design, animation, video game design, special effects, advertising and video production. The student will be able to work in the path that they have more experience in and feel more comfortable with doing. A digital designer can be paid around $51,837 per year depending on their experience and how long they have been in the workforce for.

Graphic Designer

In the Visual Communications course the student will be able to learn Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign more in depth. The student will gain skills about graphic design, and be able to think outside of the box to create their designs. Once the student feels comfortable and ready enough to work in the workforce for graphic design when their program ends, they can become a graphic designer. A graphic designer is someone who creates promotional items, visual and textual content which involve images, words and graphic elements. A graphic designer can make around $41,079 per year depending on their experience and how long they have been in the work force for.

Animator

In the Rich Media Communications course over the 2 years the student will learn how to create animations in flash. Once the student feels like he/she is ready for the real world and they have a desire in animation, they can get a job as an animator. An animator is someone who designs, develops and creates animations. Depending on the experience and how long the student has been doing animation for the salary can vary around $50,366 per year.

Simulator

After the 2 years are done for the program the student will be able to have a career path as a simulation analyst. A simulator is a realistic mockup of an aircraft, vehicle or even of a person where you are the nurse and you’re trying to save the patient. Being a simulation analyst you can create simulations that can be for training purposes as well as games. Depending on the experience the student has in making simulations, they can have a salary around $77,677 per year.
